Kax, Yep I'm following your thread too. I LOVE the lines of the boat! How old was that trailer? I'm not sure mine can be saved. Keep the pictures coming, looks great so far.

Yup, I agree, if what you've done on the trailer and the motor, is any indication of what's gunna happen on the boat, we're all in for a Real Treat!!!:D

All I can say is WOW! I hereby nominate you for an iboats award for the work you did on the motor. It is awesome, and inspiring. And as others have said, I can't wait until you get into the boat reno, please post a lot of pix. Also, please allow me permission to come aboard and follow your progress. We are about at the same stage in our respective renovation projects, and it is fun to see similar work in progress.

That is a very cool old boat. I recall there being a few of them on the Fox Chain when I was a kid. That Merc looks terrific!
