Was going to tow my parts boat the 60 miles to where I can work on it ( which is 10 mins from my house ), but it's pouring so replacing trailer bearings in the rain wasn't something I'd like to do.. So here I am, trying to buy some maintenance stuff I know I need for my '86 3.0L swap.. The exact serial I am not sure but I know it's 6229718-0b450800

Cooling hoses I damaged when I winterized it but I wasn't worried as I wanted to replace anyway.

I found the big hose #96879 but the hose to the transom plate is discontinued. #4285064
I'm finding " Hose 44 Inch " 32-8M0062634 as the superceeded part in a couple places. But not the places with listings for my drive exactly.. Any ideas?

just it to length, that part is used across many motors
what size hose is it? after looking at a picture of that hose, it's just a straight piece of hose. would a standard heater hose work? It's a $30+ hose and heater hose is $2/ foot last I bought some

Yes, standard heat hose will work so long as it's not a suction line. If you have a Alpha drive then none of the hoses are suction

Cool. That’s what I thought. Wasn’t sure if it was special being designed for raw water.
