No he doesn't and the situation is not the same, Brett was a spoiled brat he waffled on retirement, did not do OTA's and did not travel with the team to road games, when MM came on he wanted that changed and Brett did not handle it well.

One thing that viking fans do not get about NFL QBs you draft a quarter back before you need a quarter back.

I did hear that the Cowboys HAD to sign Dalton... they needed to maintain their quota of ginger since Jason Garrett was removed from the payroll.

Is there is anything good out of the pandemic?

The NFL has cut the 5 international games from the schedule meaning the four London games and the Mexico City game will be played on US soil. Next week an updated schedule is supposed to be released by the NFL

The NFL is debating on a season w/o fans in the stadiums. They reached out to the Browns for advice on this......

Not much going on in the sports world. No OTA's, no in person interviews for free agents and most important for teams looking at free agents is their medical staff can't examine a player. That's big. Free agency is at a stand still.

They are talking about putting a product on the field as early as late September. 2 pre season games and a 4 week training camp. Zero, none, ziltch, niema, nienti, nada fans in the stands. I say forget it. There would be a huge astris beside any stats for 2020.

It doesn't make sense to have a season. Can't do it safely. Despite what some may think, football is not essential

For that matter nothing we do in life is 100% safe. Our whole life is risk assessment. It is all a matter of each person evaluating the risk/reward for themselves and those around them.

. Despite what some may think, football is not essential

It pretty much is to the folks that make there living at it . And I’m not just talking about the overpaid players .
Besides if no football I’ll have to find some other “pic em” league to stink at ...

Over paid players? The players generate the revenue and their salaries do not add up to anyhing over 50% of the revenue. It is like telling your best salesman his commision is too high.
