2001 5.7 mercruiser

engine runs good for 10 min then dies. starts up but wont stay running. wait 15 min then runs again. i just put a new fuel pump didnt help.

i talked to my local marina 2day they mentioned replacing ignition coil, does anyone agree with this solution?

my local marina gave me the right advise for my problem , installed new ignition coil cost $40 and took 20min. two remove and reinstall. took the boat out 2day and ran great.
