I forgot to mention we used automotive paint on this job, cost us a bit more, but we're really happy with it.

Hey budski,
Great job on the refurb! I hope it is all working out for you after a season of use. It is pretty inspiring especially as I get started on my 1995 Sport fisherman. I do have a couple of q's if you wouldn't responding back.

- How did you attach the floor panels back onto the boat, fasteners or adhesives?
-what type of wood for the floor?
- Is there anything you would do differently?

Phasch, it's great that you admire the great work John has done on this boat. But you would be better served starting your own topic about YOUR boat, and asking questions about your boat there. Thanks

BTW: If you have an aluminum boat, particularly a Starcraft, you'd find LOTS of great info in the Starcraft forum, and the Starcraft rebuilds. Look thru those, and if you are rebuilding a Starcraft, start a topic in the SC forum. Lots of good fellas hanging around in there.

Hey bud! Boat looks fantastic.

Which trolling motor(thrust) is that on the outboard? Also a rough weight and speed you can troll in your boat. Been considering one for mine.

Great work!

Thanks Sax, the trolling motor is a 55 pound thrust Minnkota, pushes the boat about 4 mph, but not much good in any kind of current.Cabelas sells them you can check there for weight.
