Re: 2000 Bayliner Capri Deck and Interior Rebuild
good to hear that everyone thinks i made the right choices so far
i hoping to get the boat back from the garage today. had some work done on the trailer (replace leaf springs and repack the hubs). looking forward to getting back to work on it. i still have to replace the bunk mounts and hardware. i am planning on attacking that as soon as i get it back. not sure if i will be able to do it with the boat on the trailer or not. have to get the trailer work done to make the drive back to pennsylvania from alabama
in the mean time here are some pics of the bow seats support removal and whatnot. I cut out all the rot and soft wood. the foam underneath was damp, but it was nothing that a day in the alabama sun with fans blowing it didn't dry out. luckily i didn't have to cut all the way back to remove the console's. the rest of the wood still is real solid. im thinking that this will make mounting the new ply easier.
