2000 90hp Johnson Hard to start.

Primer clicks when key is pushed in but won't start until red primer indicator is turned up . What should I do to fix this??

Key is to be pushed in and held in while cranking the motor over.

Did that but still won't start it turns over but won't start running until I lift up the primer indicator.

Take primer apart as plunger may be " sticky " in the bore.

Will do that when and if it ever stops raining .

Filter could be stopped up in primer
