J35RCI would be a 1981 35hp. Are you sure the "6" isn't a letter? Even if it is, it would be fairly meaningless.

Tell ya what, around here we have a lake that is restricted to 20hp. I have been trying to find a 20hp hood for my 35. But don't tell the cops. Sounds like you have a motor like that.

$100 boat for my 13 yo son,got it running in an hour-electric start fixed in another hour-the fact that it runs at all is great.black plastic bellcrank for throttle/timing was broken and crank bearings are loose-runs wot just fine!
