1999 Johnson 150 gear lube

Can somebody tell me how much gear lube I need for my gearcase?

25-28 oz. You will need to buy two qts of gear lube if you use a pump to fill the gearcase, since they do not pump the bottle dry.

I use a hand pump to allow me to get empty the entire liter (quart) and find it a little easier to fill the lower unit with it. Real cheap and convenient
