Im rebuilding a set of carbs, the old needle set doesn't have the white seal, but the kit includes it. I just readjusted the float. Does it matter as long as the is set?

Rebuilt the same carb set last fall.

The nylon washer under the seat is OEM Evinrude. Included in float valve and seat assembly- 0396522

While you could probably get away without them, personally I would go back and install the washers as intended. It only takes a couple of seconds to adjust a float and it gives me the piece of mine that the carbs are assembled as designed. No second guessing yourself down the road

Is it not part of item #10 assembly?

??----Look at some other typical carburetor parts pages.----Metal carburetors and see the nylon washer CLEARLY shown.
