Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone knows about stratos 2450 blue water boats. Owner states there is no wood used in construction of boat would like o confirm this if anyone knows Thank You
Here's what my research dug up...In the early 90's Stratos had 2 lines with the exact same boats. Stratos and Stratos Bluewater. The Bluewater series included Kevlar reinforcement, extra layers of glass and beefier transoms. For example the Bluewater 2250 CC was 500 lbs heavier and rated for 300 hp while the regular line was rated for 225 hp. But.. most of what I've read indicates they are wood free NOW but can't find a definitive answer as to when they started. Possibly 1989 but haven't been able to confirm that. I'll keep looking.
