In regards to the divits you see, you can add more glass and resin or PB with chop strand. It takes alot of glass to do a build up to level but eeepoxy is purty strong stuff. I'm certain someone else will chime in.

Thanks Arawak that is how I did it 4 layers at once. But it still has a depression and I was wondering if I can do another layup small to large over what I already did.

Sure, but are you worried about cosmetics or structure? I wouldn't think you'd have any structural problems with what you've done. Of course, another layer or two would not hurt anything. But if it's just cosmetics then I'd do as kcassells says and fill with some hairy PB.

arawak I am concerned about structural I'll put a few more layers there small enough not that much to waste
So after doing the transom on the work bench I am seriously thinking about doing the stringers and bulkheads this way then tabbing them in . Maybe one layer on bench then I can tab 1 layer half way up then 2nd tabbing all the way up

Da...Hello...lol! If you do end up adding hair to your mix then;
1st; get your resin qty. then finger in some chopped strand...let it soak in there till clear.
2nd; then add your B mix and stir all up. Nuttin like a little fur in the mix. IMHO. It will just dissipate like it's not even there.

Half of us rehabbers don't go in that direction cause me/they don't have all the materials on hand to progress this way. Me included...pcs at a time but at least getting things done. I think you'll find your approach is "MOST EXCELLENT!"

Thanks arawak. Last year I had basically your same boat. Ended up coming home in 6 footers. Thats when I decided time for a little bigger. Plus when the grand daughters are with me I have to go swimming to pee. But not any more.
And yes transom in isca good feeling

With the 4 holes repaired I've used 2 gals of epoxy .
So far I like it much longer work times . and I have not used a mask .other then when using cabisol. I hope that's ok lol

Looking great minch! EEEpoxy is so sweet to work with, IMHO. Transom work is pretty perfect. You will have a stronger boat than the way it was built. And no more jumping off the boat to pee. :lol:
