New to this site. Probably a silly question but when changing bellows and g/bearing, shift cables etc. Should I buy genuine mariner parts at the dealer? I see I can order off Amazon as well with varying prices.

You could buy from Amazon, if you are 100% sure the parts are genuine. Most will be aftermarket. As a professional marine mechanic, I used aftermarket bellows just the once, and NEVER again.

I second achris, the OE are superior in quality. Plus the aftermarket ones seem easier to botch.

Quicksilver is Mercury's accessory brand. So yes, genuine.
Thanks again. Having problems sometimes when shifting into gear that my engine stalls. Also when shifting back into neutral. I'm thinking shift cable replacement or adjustment. Seems like the stall switch ( not sure the proper name) is being activated. Even when I'm idling in neutral if I just haul back on my shifter I can stall the engine.

Sounds like some stiffness in the system, yes... (Shift interrupt switch ;))
