Didnt half to because water came perfect to inner chine end on bow and original line on rear low side so i figure ill use that and put a 2 " black line between red and white for varience ?

I always said, it is better to be lucky then good....but that is only for me, not you. You seem to know what you are doing. Can't truly say the same for myself.

That looks great! Looks like she leveled out nicely. I bet you can't wait to take her for a spin.

many nights of staring and calculating with shoes off to make sure I didn't have mud in my eye and crow on my breath, but in the end I was still shaky as hell till I saw it lift off the trailer,Since this my first time doing this lol.
Sad part is I found out I have a 3 " slice in my hull I never noticed because it was under a brace so as I was sitting there I started seeing water like a hour into float test and couldn't figure out where it was coming from, pulled the boat and bam we found it ,
I was kinda relieved because it don't appear my transom was leaking it was coming from this that I know can be easily fixed, must have came like that and again I just never saw it because I never had to do anything to bottom of boat yet ! pic as soon as camera gets charged . also need advice on fixing , cant get to it inside it isn't even visible its in the outer layer of hull inner layer is just fine.

You might be able to open up the crack to an 1/8" and sand the outer layer down. Before you lay a patch over the 1/8" crack you could inject PB into the hull with a syringe and load it up. Then lay the patch on the outside and fair everything smooth. I'm sure there's a better way to do it but that might work.

I'm glad it's not the transom. These things keep the dream going as my brother says.

yeah I have a syringe that I can inject pb with that was what I was thinking then leave a divit for gelcoat its small so I think it will be a easy fix , just not sure how it got there or where it came from, its not on chine just slightly in from it so pfft!

Well if thats the worst of it I'd say you had a great time with the float! You can open up the crack, clean it up, have a wet out pc. of glass ready lay on crack and as it's setting up push up into the void and let set. Come back with some pb after it dries, sand out and then layer your new patches.

welp I got it running today for around a hour man those lifets were sticky at first, 8 yrs and just a couple of turn overs and she purred after awhile, got scared I couldn't find oil on dipstick so added more and where ever it was hiding it returned so now I need to drain a bit , getting massive blow by hoping that settles dowjn but if not a rebuild is in store in future
she does idle at 700 just fine don't smoke and don't overheat
