You have a good Italian wife!!! Now just avoid those stabbing a followed by noodles and you've got it made.

But seriously, that would be cool, especially with the paint color.

ahh so today I will be mounting the transom setting the gimble bearing redoing bellows and getting it ready to accept engine and outdrive ... fun stuff :) got to float her to get a waterline before I can paint the beast :) the one thing I worried about last night at 2am whilst putting stuff out for this morning was bellows had notches on each side finally found a site that said those notches face the transom and usually at 1 o clock position, have bellows adhesive and have reset the pins on the pivot and adjusted to tolerence

Mick,
When you get a chance can you shoot some pics from the front and other perspectives of your pilot house? I'm always looking for ideas to put 1 on mine. Thanks and looking good.

Awesome Build!!! You've accomplished so much in very little time! I am excited to see the results! I just read from start to finish, but had I found earlier, I'd not been of use, as my boats are tin, and the only resin I've done is on the transom I just rebuilt.

Very cool!!! Thank YOU for sharing!!!

well we got the engine back in place before the sky opened up ! buddy mike came over with his mini trencher thing didn't even break a sweat went so smooth I was able to get the exaust to slide on and we hit the back motor mount holes first try :). stuff never goes that smoothly I keep checking to see if boat fell over or something after we walked away !
:) thanks for the responses yeah its not perfec,t wont be for some time but its sound and I cant wait to float it to get the waterline. probably about 2 weeks away for that because I need to fix some keel rollers on trailer first and install the new bunks.
now to align the engine ugh !

man, I'm so stoked , engine aligned bolted down linkages all hooked back up now to tackle wiring and get the duel batteries all hooked up and finish that out , I got some time because I'm still waiting on a rebuild kit for carb ugh! i will post some pics tonight, no I didn't clean engine up and paint it because I probably will be rebuilding it over winter if compression on one cylinder don't improve but I am hopeful after some run time it will build back up

Good call. Get her in the water and enjoy her before it gets cold out and it's time to winterize.

I am looking at that same scenario. I need to do little touch-ups, but running out of time to worry about them. I'm hoping to get everything finished by the end of September, take it out for a joy run or two and then a couple trips for walleye before it's all over.
There's always next year right?!

Congrats on keeping her moving forward. That's a good direction to be heading.
