Hi all its been awhile, a lot has happened the first thing is I was with a friend on lake Okeechobee running to a new fishing spot when my 1988 Johnson 90hp desided to stop running and start making grinding noises. Well as luck wasn't on my side the lower unit took a dump.
To make a long story short I replaced the motor with a 90hp Optimax WOW what a difference. Also during this time I replaced the transom which was a job in itself. Here are a couple of pictures with the new motor and new bimini top
