Looks GREAT!

Good luck on your boat ride. :)

Took it out on it's maiden splash today on the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes FL. Everything performed FLAWLESS. As expected the 5HP Merc 4str is no speed demon with 2 people in the boat, but in over 4 hrs of continuous running at 3/4 to full throttle it used less than 2 gals of fuel. Going to hang the 15HP Merc 2str on the boat this weekend...I'm sure the performance will improve!

Congrats on a successful rehab and splash.

Enjoy the boat!

Congrats again

It's too cold in FL for fishing can't you see he was struggling just to keep from shivering in the pic?

Glad to hear your splash went well.

This project on this kind of boat here in Fla is worth it because you CANNOT FIND a used wide/deep SemiVee here. You can buy/order NEW something similar of course. Investing over $3000 in 28 year old boat no matter what the brand really is not being SMART with the BOATING BUCKS. Looking at Craig's list in WI and MN, I could have found a nicer boat requiring a lot less work, money and time. Am I happy with the boat YES, I would not do this again, UNLESS it was a REAL SWEET 14-16FT StarCraft BOWRIDER.... NO!

Moving right along, wired the fuse box, switches, acc 12V plug, replaced the blue wiring sleeve with black, anchored it down, the other black hose is old air hose which houses the 10GA wires from the battery, mounted the depth/fish/gps unit, ran the transducer cable and mounted the transducer, secured the panels on top of the storage/livewell box. Tomorrow the fuel/water filter and odds and ends and I should be pretty well done.

Fishin98, Man that is a nice job on the wiring. That is going to be my next task tonight mapping out the wiring diagram on paper. Your's looks very clean and professional. Great work!

munster04 avoid posting in topics where the original poster (fishing98) hasnt posted in 90days

Treat them like library books, for research only and not to be written to.
