I have the Marine Carpeting on order from Lowes, will be here in 2 weeks. I've looked around at Lowes and Home Depot...They don't seem to carry a light gray spray for the seats and compartments by Rustoleum, I'm thinking of spraying clear enamel over the primer gray as it matches up pretty close with the interior of the boat.

Finally after goofing off for a month and warmer weather finally arriving, got busy on the boat. The Marine Carpeting I ordered from Lowe's came in, 6' X 20' roll came in at just a bit over $150, picked up a gallon of adhesive. Cut and fitted the live well pump and screen, rechecked the openings for the switch plate, and aux plug, then painted the live well and storage compartment boxes. I decided to repaint the interior of boat, along with the transom, as it was looking pretty crappy. Did one coat yesterday, another today, then another tomorrow. Will let it sit for 72hrs afterwards to let everything harden. I used Rustoleum spray cans, the same stuff I used on the trailer. Finnished sanding the prop for the 15HP Merc, sprayed it with Zinc Chromate, will let it set up for 48 hrs before spraying Merc Phantom Black on it. Here are a few Pictures of my progress

Fishin that's coming along nicely. Wish the weather up here in Wis. would warm up soon so I can get back to mine. Cabin Fever is setting in big time.

If you ever feel the need to drag that thing back to Wis. we'll have to get together on my lakes and have a little fishin contest!

I'm just 20 min. from Lake Geneva were all the cars went thru the ice last weekend. Last time I was on the Wolf we were staying at the BlueTop Resort and ended up taking an ambulance ride from Waupaca to Milwaukee.

Anyways, your paint turned out very good for rattle cans.

Thanks...the longer I let it set up, the harder the finish will get. I should have everything back together or close to it by next weekend. I'm going to start off with the 5hp 4str Merc, just to get a feel of it. The 15hp should be good to go soon, making repairs on the lower leg( salt water corrosion). Just received a call the seats I ordered are in. The CRAPPIE are biting down here Lakeland/WinterHaven Fla area.

Got a few things done in the past couple of days..Cut and glued the carpeting to the plywood and set them in the boat loose. "CAUTION" use disposable gloves when working with the glue. Painted the prop and cowling for the 15HP Merc. The prop did not turn out too bad due to the amount of corrosion I had to clean off. The cowling had a couple of deep scratches, I'm happy with it overall.

Did not get much done today, Anchored the floor in with #10 1 1/2 stainless steel screws with a collar. Then installed the aerator pump and sea strainer, installed the intake water spray on the live well, installed a wiring loom around all the wires, except for the 2 10gauge leads that will be coming from the battery.

Just finished ..too late for pictures. Tomorrow will be installing composite board at the bottom of the transom for the transducer, wire the Fish/Depth Finder/GPS install that....Pictures tomorrow....

I see water in my future..Got the bench seats back in the boat, live well/storage box mounted, Carpet on boards mounted to the tops of the benches and livewell/storage box. got the pedestal seat mounts in, new mid height seats in. Had some composite material laying around, so I decided to mount those on the lower stern for a place to mount the transducer's properly, I was quite liberal with the 5200, replaced the BLUE wiring looms with BLACK, the wife though they were ugly.
Tomorrow, mount and wire the Lowrance Elite 4 Chirp DI/GPS, wire all the lights and aerator into the fuse and switch box, install the fuel water separator.

Moving right along, wired the fuse box, switches, acc 12V plug, replaced the blue wiring sleeve with black, anchored it down, the other black hose is old air hose which houses the 10GA wires from the battery, mounted the depth/fish/gps unit, ran the transducer cable and mounted the transducer, secured the panels on top of the storage/livewell box. Tomorrow the fuel/water filter and odds and ends and I should be pretty well done.

More pictures..The transducer cable is really thick, the transducer is twice the size of the old ones. Definitely going to wrap and couple of sandwich bags around it when mot

oring to the lake, nothing will ruin a transducer faster than sand and rocks coming off the road, notice all the room between the back bench seat and the stern.

I think I'd of run out of patience and had it out for a ride by now, ya know just to make sure everything so far worked. :D

Looking good but I might suggest a tie down for the battery box and make sure you sealed those screws on you ducer cable clamps. (That may fall under the odds n ends but I thought I'd mention it.)

I hear you, looking at Tuesday for the splash, all the areas I screwed into receive liberal amounts of 4200, When I decide how I want the battery box in the stern I'll install the tie down hardware. Not much left to do on the project, install the fuel/water filter, install the rod holder mounts, get out the portable lake(cut down plastic drum) and run the motor for a couple of hrs.

Basically the boat is finished. Installed the fuel/water separator filter, used Honda quick disconnects on the inlet side as I'll be swapping fuel tanks back and forth, Mercury fuel line connector on the outlet. Ran the 5HP Merc for the 1st time in over a year for 4hrs in the portable lake. Installed the rod holders. Only thing left I want to do is install two LED interior lights. Going to go for a boat ride today.
