I'm lost. Didn't follow the simple instructions that came with the fuel pump rebuild kit ie: orientiation of inlet and outlet hoses. Took it apart, replaced gaskets, diaphram, springs etc. Put it all back together. Pumped primer bulb and fuel comes out of the vent hole in the bottom of the pump. Took it apart and checked all parts, nothing out of place. The fuel outlet I think should be on the top with the fuel inlet at about a right 45 deg. I took the pump apart several times and reassembled in different combinations and the same out come, fuel from the vent hole. Please help. Submarines Forever. Phil
