Casting deck is all glassed in. I decided to lay a piece of 1/2" over the old and sturdy it up more.

Paint should be here today, but I'm not quite ready for that. Supposed to be cooler and rainy for the next week anyway.:blue:

Be careful about adding extra weight like that especially in the front of the boat....it can add handling issues,holeshot issues....I know it dont seem like much but keep this in mind when you start to optimize performance after you get her done. You will need to probably put your tackle in the back or further back now because of the added weight. Just a heads up.Keep up the good work bud its looking REAL GOOD!!!!!

I thought about the weight, but felt it wouldn't add enough weight to affect it too adversley. I might just need to put a couple of those big bass in the rear livewell.:eagerness:

Mock up of my dash panels made with the carbon fiber panels. I'm not real sure I like the design, but I'll see how it looks when I get the dash installed, glassed in, and painted. It'll be dark blue. These are old guages I'm using for mock up. I intend to get new ones.

Got the new dash glassed in. Got the livewells repaired/fiberglassed and the PO's rigged up plumbing removed. Got countless rusted screws, and old rivets removed, and a lot of sanding done today. Didn't get pics yet, but I'll try to post some tomorrow. Gettin' closer to paint. :whoo:

Thanks! I was able to get some fairing done on the dash and a couple of other spots that needed it. Will get some pics tomorrow!

Got most of my hatch lids redone, and coated. Got 3 to go. I have some of the 1/2" exterior leftover that I'm using. Just have to carpet them.

Dash is in. Just some touch up fairing/sanding. Should be ready to paint the cap real soon, provided the rain will stop when I'm off work.

I've still got some prep to do on the cowl. Gotta finish sanding and fix some scratches. I've been practicing with an airbrush and may attempt to do my lettering and maybe some airbrushed rivets. We'll see...

Getting ready to splash! Have to get it registered then I'm good to go. Sorry for the lack of updates. Too many projects going on. I'll post update pics later.
