Thanks Jason, Glen, 2000 Starcaft starfire 190, has a merc 90 2 stroke I'll replace the motor with the 125 off the black v5, and put the 90 on that, tested the boat out went 36 mph with the 90 with 3 people it not bad but should be a lot better with the 125, has beige and green carpet in the interior and floor, in pretty good condition trailer is excellent, but going to replace with grey vinyl flooring and grey carpet, this will be my winter project, I got the boat for 7500.00 in Minnesota I think I got a pretty good deal but I'll see once I start the interior tear down. might just keep this one for myself and sell the two v5's in the spring.

Re: 1979 Starcraft 18 v5 Restoration re model

Happy New Year Blue, and thanks, I'm going to make two of them one for each side on the stern of my starfire, and two more one for each of my V5's going to mount them in the center just below the cup holders may make the last two 4 rod holders, probably carpet them. need something to keep me busy this winter boats are pretty well done and we're a ways from selling them, going to keep the starfire and sell the 2 v5's, just need to paint the yellow v5 just figured I'd add a few features to make them more saleable.
