Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!

The boat is all painted by now I think. He was shooting the top Wednesday night, I might stop by today and see. He can't get to the motor until next week, so probably won't get it all home until later in the week.

So, the garage is getting a small makeover because its an absolute disaster. Adding two 8' x 10' shelves above the garage door. I have so much stuff leaning up against the walls that I don't want falling over on a newly painted boat.

I'm also building some regular shelves in the back and another small workbench/table.

Nope, not yet. I believe the boat is done, it's the motor thats getting finished up and the easiest way to get the motor home is on the boat. Should be any day now though........

I think some spy photos would do nicely to quell the Mob's ire

:spy: :photo:

As nice as the boat looked, the motor should be fantastic too...

Yeah, going to go check it out tonight I think. I haven't been there in a week cause i've been busting butt cleaning/organizing my garage so I have someplace to put it when it comes home. Now that it's cold out, I need room for the wife's car too.

I did get a quote to have the whole deck and hull sides carpeted. Being there is nothing to go around I though maybe it wouldn't cost too much. WRONG! I'll be doing my own carpet and prolly getting it from boatcarpetbuys dot com. Carpet should run $400-$500 plus glue. My quote to have it done was $1500!

Hopefully something follows you home.

The suspense is killing me.

Carport for the wife's car???? Yea maybe not.

If you're taking bids on carpet installs, $900 plus your materials, just kidding. That 1K sounds pretty steep.

Nice job on the garage storage.

That quote would have have me reading up on DIY carpet installation too. Is the quote carpet and labor both? I know you're dropping some serious change for the paint, but that's a specialized and very visual thing. But carpet - heck you walk and fish slime all over it.

Yeah, $1500 was carpet and installation.

Stopped to check out progress. He was stripping the paint off the motors leg. The cowls are ready for paint, so tomorrow the motor will get painted. If all goes as planned tomorrow, I'm going to bring it all home Saturday! So until then I got one more pic for ya....
