I've used the storm grey Nautolex on two different boats and will be using it again on my current build. I do not feel it gets too hot. I've had thoughts about using the black at times, but shy away from it due to the heat concerns. Stick with a light color and I think you'll be fine.Okay... starting to pull some things together for the restoration. Does nautolex (light color) get hot? Mississippi sun + aluminum + carpet = HOT deck. Any suggestions on a "coolish" (temp) material? Also rub rail. There's a whole piece of the rail (about three feet) broken off the starboard side from the stern up. Any ideas on replacement? Thanks to all!!!
