Watching spar dry and first fit for the Nautolex. Need to trim a little before the 3M80 comes out and smooth all the wrinkles out.

That looks great!! I'm liking the vinyl. Colors contrast nicely.

Keep up the great work!

Little bilge work and console installs tonight. Got the float switch mounted, but buggered up the bilge pump basket. Hopefully I can just get a replacement from Rule, otherwise I'll be ordering another pump.

You'd think they could make those pump bases out of something a little tougher than super thin fragile plastic.

No kidding! I've got everything ready for when the new basket arrives and it should be a rather quick install, but the bigger frustration is the delay on the splashwell install. So much easier to deal with the bilge stuff with it removed.

That's why I added an 8" spin out deck plate over my pumps in the middle of the SW for future replacement or issues in the bilge area. I also put my spin on fuel filter in there as well. Not my idea really, I saw all the new SC boats come with them now in their SW.

Check it out you can see the pumps right there through the hole I cut for the deck plate.

I just happen to have a couple of those sitting in my new parts bin too:) Was going to add them somewhere on the front casting deck, but thinking more towards hatches now anyhow. Guess I'll pull out the jigsaw...unless I can find an 8" hole saw somewhere...lol.

Figured it's been a while since my last update...

Consoles and windshield mounted, console fronts sealed in epoxy. Will get some paint for the inside and Nautolex or vinyl on the outside. Side boards, dash panels, and gunnel bow pads all sealed and wrapped in vinyl. Bilge pump and float switch installed and splashwell riveted in place. Haven't sunk in the transom splashwell screws yet, so will line it up with the drain tubes when that is done. Seats and bases all mocked up, but not yet fastened down. Little smalls like the dash cutouts for steering, switch panel, radio, etc. and the speaker cut outs in the side panels were all done before vinyl. Still need to mock up the front casting deck and get that framed and the wood cut and sealed, but she's starting to look like a boat again!

Yeah those smalls and finish work take some time alright, in fact I'm still doing things on my SS and it's been nearly a year since I splashed. Everything is looking super nice, you should have her out on the waves this summer.
