Needs just a bit more touch up with some resin to seal those ends. The tube ended up being 2 layers of 1708.

The tubes are fiberglass. Link below (cause I can't figure out how to get links into text).

Im having concerns about the hull. The previous owner worked on the boat while it was on the trailer. He did not have a cradle. The cap seems to fit well as of now. Could any warping be corrected or is boat done?

I did my 16 foot outboard powered trihull on the trailer without a cradle and it worked out fine. Not recommended but it saved me a bunch of time and expense.

Here's what I started with, a 15.5 foot Orrion 1977 model.

No cradle, but again not recommended.

With radar too.

And another thing that saved time, space and money was using two Harbor Freight furniture dollies shown below, one larger and one small one, for the engine. Worked PERFECT. Rolled it right under the work bench completely out of the way of everything.

Super cool cabin!!! I like it a lot. It was kinda too late with the cradle anyways, but it does make me feel a bit at ease now. The PO had already put in the stringers with it on the trailer

I enjoyed looking at all of your pictures of your rebuild. Did you repaint the outer hull at all?

I was also wanting to make an enclosure/cabin/ dodger, something simple and solid but not nearly as awesome as what you built (but would be nice), I just dont want to fork over the money for it. Do you have any suggestions?

All the things running through my mind were an aluminum frame either square or round tube with canvas or a wood top that is glassed and painted, maybe use wood frame and have removable canvas as well.
I have a no problem fabricating tubing, brackets, and TIG welding
