Painted the upper with Krylon Fusion today. It needs to be buffed out.

You're making great progress. Can't wait to see her finished.

I cut the holes in the stringers at the back of the transom and used 5200 to glue in some pvc tubes so that I could put the drain plugs like WG linked. From what I hear... thinking no water will ever get under there and need to drain out is wishful thinking.

In case anyone is watching, this boat hit the water yesterday! Everything ran great while the kids bounced along in the tubes. With a new deck and transom, we're good to go for a long time.

It is hard to 'watch' since there have not been any recent pictures . . .

Maybe not everyone appreciates this kind of humor, and maybe everyone else saw this years ago, but it's new to me, and I sure laughed.



Here's the 1968 Larson. 85HP Johnson may be a bit heavy, but it pulls the tube at 33 MPH.
