1959 Feathercraft Ski-Bo

I have never owned a boat until today. I have been looking for a while now and watching people restore old boats on this forum for years. So I decided to find a small runabout I could restore. I found this boat on craigslist and bought it this morning. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you Jones.... Got back on craigslist and from a Johnson 35hp Sea Horse for $50!! I can't wait to start fixing it up.

Just got the data information off the Seahorse. Model Number is RDE-19 M and Serial Number is 1680073. I think I got a 1957 or 1958 motor? Still looking for information about this motor. Like I said....I am brand new to this. And thank you for the information and comments everyone.

Just got the boat off the trailer for alittle cleaning up and looking for any damage.

..DRC.: NIce model , Good score... Like this year better than the mid 60's... There is a outboard show & AL boats featured in Mid May south Knoxville , if you are ready for 2012.. Louisville Park , Near ALLISON plant.
