A $25 air chisel, and a $4 auto body-working dolly will do it.

Beerfilter....that has to be the best handle on the internet.

This is the rivet set on my air chisel. I have had it a long time and I think I paid about Twenty bucks.

I do love those rod lockers! I wish they were available commercially.

Re: 14' Starcraft winter project

Please remember safety first....sometimes we forget these important words and proceed without thinking about the consequences.

Last Thursday night I was working on the boat and made a huge mistake by thinking I could just trim a high spot without re-clamping the part I was working on. Nine stitches inside and ten outside all caused by not respecting the tool I was using and the procedures that would have kept me safe. If you look at the left side of the photo you'll see the Dremell tool with the saber saw attachment that got me.

I'll have to take a few days off from working on this project.....but I will never disrespect safety again no matter how small or trivial.

Valid Point, we all get a little comfortable when we do things repeatedly. I have done it myself. Thanks for the reminder.

Re: 14' Starcraft winter project

The hand has long healed and it's time to get this boat on the water, there is only a few things to do before I launch this weekend.

I have the next few days off so I can get lot done. I need to be finished because Bass season opens Saturday and I want to fish.

I'm going to take my wife's advise and not paint inside or outside because she always gives me the look when I start freaking about getting a scratch or when the kids do it, this way I couldn't tell you if it was a new one or a old one.
