    OK, checked today. I have 12v at the fuse in the cowling and there are 2 red wires under the console that are both hot. Could it be the ignition switch or still the solenoid?

    On the back side of the ignition switch there are about 8 wires which I am not sure how to test. My meter's probes are not sharp enough anymore to penetrate the insulation so I disconnected the switch at the connector which should be the same thing. I couldn't find power on either circuit...

    I cut out the old glass style fuse holder and installed a blade type but still no crank. Couldn't find a brown wire. Shifter is in neutral. Could it be or is there a neutral safety switch? anyone know where to find a schematic or are these all basically the same. Anyone have any ideas...
