    Thanks! I think your right. I probably have to to 14' boat. I am a senior and really want to go with steering and trim/tilt minimum. Bought 2021 CRV AWD, so kind of stuck with the max tow weight. More practical.

    No it doesn't but my understanding is that CRV EX AWD is great for towing 1500 and under. And yes, definitely getting trailer with brakes! Like I said, most of the fishing will be done within 12 to 21 miles from home and if that works well. Might take it for a fishing trip a little farther out.

    I just bought it in August, it's a 2020 CRV EX AWD so I think it will be fine for a smaller, lighter boat. I am going to have Honda install Honda hitch plus transmission cooler, so I think as long as I can get a lighter boat/trailer, should be fine. Thanks!

    Thanks, CRV AWD is rated to tow 1500 lb but now I realizes that my choices for bass boat is limited to just a few options. I want one with a steering wheel so probably a bass tracker.
