Thank you all for the help. I was able to pick up the singer 239 this week. Disassembled cleaned it and oiled it. It I'd very clean and barely used.

The hull top and bottom are fiberglassed to each other not glued. and with the fins in the way I am not sure it could be done from the inside. I see. Cut around the lines in the picture

That is probably why I can not turn the flywheel. In the next day or so I will hook up a battery and see what will happen. I am looking for a manual for this engine. Does anyone know which manual will cover this particular engine?
