    Second time I had the boat in the water, we're chugging along just fine when all of a sudden there's a loud "WHEEEEE!!" noise coming from the sterndrive and the boat comes to a stop. The boat went straight to the shop, and the mechanic wanted a grand to replace the upper drive shafts. Heh...

    Re: 1985 Bayliner Capri restoration Few more pics... Interior with seats removed. The strip between the seat platforms is the width of the deck that I'll need to replace. Not really a lot of wood there. I haven't stripped the carpet off the seat platforms, but they seem to be fiberglass...
