I am considering a product called ReStore that claims to return the shine to my boat. I have sanded and compounded but even with wax it still turns dull. The concern area is two wide Green stripes. I will buy enough to just do the stripes. Has anybody used this product? Does it work
My dash on my Cobalt 252 is faded and crazing. It appears to be a faux wood on a semi-rigid vinyl material that was applied to the stock dash. Anybody had any luck refinishing or replacing? Thanks

My imitation wood dash on my Cobalt 252 is really faded. I can't order a new one from Cobalt. Has anyone found a material that can be applied to cover the dash with good uv protection?
A (*^@## mechanic snapped off the bolt for the battery cable on the starter. The same mechanic said he would have to remove the engine to replace the starter on my '99 252 with a 454 DP. Anybody had their starter replaced?
My DF in my '99 252 reads temp but not depth. I think it is the transducer which I believe is a Faria guage. Does anybody know where it is? I prefer not to tear apart the boat looking for it.
My new '99 Cobalt 252 was not cared for very well. The "wood" dash is badly faded. Is this replaceable? My depth finder does not work. Temp works but depth is blank. It flashes on start-up then goes blank. Is it the transducer? I believe the DF is a Faria? I can't find where they stuck...
