    Excuse the newbie

All you firearm owners When my Dad passed I became the owner of his firearm collection. Among the pieces was his service Ithaca 45 cal, he served in Okinawa, do you think this is still a viable weapon that can still be fired or should it be put in a case as a show piece?

    Bulk pl premium

Not sure if this belongs here, when I'm doing wood build ups, the most common adhesive is pl premium. Problem is getting the stuff out of the tubes fast enough it doesn't set up before I can trowel it. Does anybody know where to get it in bulk like a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff?

    What happened out west?

I keep my eye out for a diesel tow wagon that fits my budget. I've noticed lately in my area a rash of tow wagons brought in "from out west" with below list pricing. Did something out west ( like a flood )toast a bunch of vehicles to watch out for?

    69 115hp gear problem

I needed to replace my reverse gear due to the fact the bushing wore out. The gear I got is too tight on the prop shaft. I mic'd it out, the prop shaft appears to be a nice 1", the bushing mic's at 0.0025 smaller. Can I just run a cleaner ream through the bushing without destroying it? BTW these...

    Little chainsaw help please

I've got a little Poulan 14" chainsaw that's been a great trimming saw until recently. It doesn't want to stay running without a blip on the primer. I put a new diaphragm kit in it and I'm pretty religious about clean supply fuel. No change, any thoughts?

    Ford 6.0 diesel that bad?

I'm looking a two 2003 F250 diesels for my next tow rig. One is a 2003 XLT super cab with the 7.3l and 186,00 on the clock. The other is a 2003 Lariat crewcab with the 6.0l and 145,000 on the clock. I know the 7.3 has been the king of the hill, but having the crew cab would make life easier for...

    synthetic oils

I have been a big fan of Amsoil's synthetic products for years. I am considering changing my 2000 7.3 powerstroke over to synthetic. They claim 25,000 mile change interval under normal service. Yea it's $4.00 a quart more than Rotella but I'm thinking it's worth it. Anybody have any experience...

    Real outboard pricing

We all know NADA is the worst place to find real prices on used outboards. What is the best way to value a used outboard? I'm not inclined to average CL prices since we all know they are high anyway.
