I want to thank the guys who tried to help me with the numbers from the coils I need for this motor. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a set of used coils to fit it. It has a Battery(standard) ignition not the magna power ignition. The model number is 557hg serial number is 5088.
In my last post I asked if I could use automotive or motorcycle coils in place of my coils on this motor. If I cant where could I get a set for it.The ignition system is a battery with a two lead alternator stator.
I have a chrysler outboard model # 557hg ser # 5088. I would like to know what ignition system it has. If anyone knows if I can put automotive or motorcycle colis on it. Also if anyone has any recommendations on a carb rebuild kit.
