Some more help with a chrysler 55 hp

http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=BM+182-5475. <br />Would this coil work for a 1975 chrysler 55 hp outboard? It is totally diffrent from the ones on it. But I was told it would work.

Are your coils mounted the spark plug wire or can they be disconnected. Force went to a different ignition system then chrysler used. Your motor either has the magneto or alternator type ignition. The coil you posted I believe is for a presto type ignition. Check with the marine doctor HERE He might be able to help you better with this question.
