Good day...friends boat overheated and the impeller was shot....replaced it and first time out it overheated just idling...the main water pick up hose inside the boat also got really hot as well...and now the engine oil is milky. My guess is head gasket let go...any suggestions.
My kicker motor is new and has roughly 12 hours on it and I noticed water coming out of the back side wich I haven't noticed before..here's some pictures hopefully those is normal
I have re powered my 1990 trophy with this engine. My issue is that the main plug from boat to engine match how ever on my gauge the oil icon has an arrow above it...my oil is full and new so I'm not sure why...any ideas

I have blown up my 2 stroke and bought a 4 stroke...now I have a 704 control box with the 9 pin plug...engine also has 9 pin...question is this....is my ignition included in the plug or what do I need to run to the engine other then this plug

I run boat in drive way and I got an overheat alarm. Work fine last time out. The boat is relatively new to me so I don't know the maintenance it's had. Thermostats and poppet valve are changed. I dropped lower unit and this is what I found
Curious on were the poppet valve is or if this engine has one. I fired boat up to flush it after a day out without incident and after about 5 min the temp alarm sounded so I.killed they key...there is tell tale water...I plan to replace thermostats any ways . Thanks
So i was going down river moving from one fishing spot to another and my oil alarm went off...so I shut engine down..my main resivour is empty but my tank at engine is full. My question is this....can I use main engine to get back to dock
I am having an issue with fuel supply to my 250 two stroke. I have replaced the fuel lines, primer bulbs, and the issue is the bulb pumps up hard but looses it's pressure. Also the same happens to my kicker line. Any suggestions
Just purchased boat and there's some wiring issues. First is when I turn battery on key off the fuel pump runs constant..second is when I push key in for choke the engine goes up lol. Any help appreciated
I have just bought a new to me boat and I've noticed something on engine i don't have a clue what it does..it's located were i assumed the tell tale should be however it looks like a round movable peice and I can see a cable end there...I'll get a picture soon..thanks
Considering buying this boat and I have never had a boat with omc gear...are they reliable and easy access to engine parys and out drive. The boat is mint and comes with a survey saying so . Any input would be appreciated
