    Have twin '95 175 Johnsons. When trolling 1 engine seems to "load-up" and start to sputter and smoke more while in gear. if I shift into neutral the idle rpms shoot to ~2K.......and eventually "clear-out" and will run fine at 4K cruise again. Any ideas on what this could be?

    Considering the purchase of Twin '01225 Optimax's. Owner claims compression #'s to be 85-105 on one engine and 85-100 on the other. ~900hrs. Price is VERY reasonable....... Any opinions? Usable as is or not?

    Have twin '95 175 Jojnsons.... Primer bulb always pumps up strong after 3-4 squeezes on port engine. Stb engine does not get "hard".....even after more pumping, engine starts fine but needs more pumping in colder weather. I replaced the primer bulb on stb engine this spring w/o any change...
