    Chartplotter/FF Wire size

You could probably get away with 10 Guage cuz you would be close and it's not a motor load

    Chartplotter/FF Wire size

Find the full load amperage of your device. Take that number and times by 125% and that's your required demand at the device. Then use this chart to Guage wire size. So let's say it draws 10 amps That would be 12.5. round up to next column would be 15 amps. Using 3%voltage drop and 25 feet of...

Can you change from welded to bolted?

For the price of the wire feed he would need to weld that properly... be cheaper to have a fab shop do it. Could get a cheapo ac buzz box but to stick weld correctly takes a fair amount of practice .... even with 6013 rod much less 7018 I would use

    Adding a Temperature Gauge

Pull a sensor. Attach a meter on it set to ohms and drop in 200 deg water. If the reading changes icrmentally in a numerical value it should work on temp guage. If it switches from close to open to close it's just for a id10t light. Also note the resistance range to order the right guage if it...

Rehab SportCraft 222 1983 deep V hull cuddy walkaround

When I did mine it was not foam backed. I got it with the boat so I used it. Due to the compound angles I could not see any way to put panels up. I think if I had foam backing I might have had a easier fight with wrinkles....just guessing.... And I have one small spot where wiring is touching it...

Poly or epoxy, not sure what to go with?

If you are in Europe from what I gather they use a non styrene based binder but in the Americas I think it's all styrene based but I would not bet real money on that. I would say to get documentation on what the binder is at least. Would suck to do all that work and have it fail. And it would...

Poly or epoxy, not sure what to go with?

Poly shouldn't smell if you are wearing respirator correctly with good cartridges. I will stink your house though

Poly or epoxy, not sure what to go with?

Poly fumes are volatile. Must wear vapor cartridge on resperator. Exposure effects are temporary. Epoxy is opposite.fumes just smell some but... Contact exposure is cumulative and never goes away. Once you have epoxy toxicity you have it for life Fyi

small electrical item off the battery...anyone know what this is?

That is a thermal overload. When it gets too hot the contact will open and soon as it cools it will close back up. They are rated for current. Without the cover you will need to figure out the rating. I got a bunch of different ones In The garage and i can look abd see a name brand if needed...
