Hate to ask a model/year question!!!!! But what is a "AT".......J115TXATS ??? Ok, In the multiple listings/sites I typically use, I see year codes ET for 1993 and AT ( I have an AT). This is a 1993 Engine, so what gives with the "AT"? "A" is not shown in any of the Year breakdown lists...

    No Feedback Telflex Steering?

What is it exactly? Asking because my New-to-Me boat seems to have it (marked on the wheel housing) and I'm not sure what to expect with it. If I grab the 1993 Johnson 115 by hand, I cannot get the motor to move. Yet it moves fine/easy by the steering wheel. Disconnecting the steering arm/link...

Hi, I'm working on 2 older motors crossflow 88spl and a 115. I'm not ready to run/start them yet, but while I have the heads off is it a good idea to get some seafoam in there and let them soak? I wont be starting these for a few weeks at least. I have the lowers off and thought I can spray...

    115 starter turning backward? Arggg.

I have a new-to-me 1984 Johnson 115. I swear in testing it on the stand, the starter shaft is spinning clockwise! Therefore the pinion never gets to ride 'up' the shaft to the flywheel. That shaft should spin Counter clockwise from what I read. Shouldnt the starter shaft spin counter...
