    So looks like I have a decent job ahead of me. The paint underneath the boat is fairly chipped and beaten up. Would it be best to paint on paint stripper and then get paint stripper poly disks to cut down to the aluminum? Any ideas are welcome. See pictures.

    So if the current engine works. That's a HUGE bonus. I get a tax refund each year which makes a engine repower an option. I would like to use current motor yet also hoping its toast so i Can invest in a total rebuilt or fuel injected model. Either way this old lady will run nice when done!!!!

    Pulled the plugs. Sprayed fogging oil into all 4 cylinders and left for 4 hours to penetrate. Slowly turned over the crankshaft and it rotates. Little tight but she rotates. Noticed one core plug had popped out behind the intake manifold. I'm going to slowly dig away to figure out this issue...
