now more confused here, previous owner put t in with valves. on line coming fr. box on floor, i hook garden hose up and water comes out the back are u saying that should not happen

i go to forums see no stickie go to mercruiser sterndrive no stickie do see must have info been looking on u tube seems need to removbell housing and ring wondering about trim there are no wires going to it on 1 side so does that mean i no need to worry about it when i take them off

there is a sea pump on motor previous owner hooked up so u can hook up garden hose to start on land there is a tru the hull fitting, but what are u saying now about shift shaft bushing seal in bell housing
can not find any cracks in bellows they still feel pliable and gimble i can turn with just pushing end of newspaper in and it is smooth and easy no rust on shaft or gimble, hose is cut off which goes into back i hooked garden hose onto fed and see water comes out both sides of nuckle, would...
