Do you have closed cooling? That would be a nice option to have assuming it is working

Square opague tank - Dark green oil = Drive unit lube oil reservoir.
Power steering fluid would be red or almost clear, depending on what oil was put in.

You do have closed cooling. That tank with the radiator cap is the heat exchanger. Normally filed with automotive type coolant / anti freeze.

That box in the bilges is probably a shower / sink drain tank that uses a bilge type pump inside the tank to pump it out.

Based on the photos posted your best option imo is to replace the entire engine assembly. My guess is the rest of the propulsion system is in similar condition and most likely needs replaced.

The clear covered box in the photos is a gray water (sump box) often used to remove shower drain water along with possibly a sink/basin(s)

That box is the grey water drain / pump out for shower and/or sinks.

Grey water is non-potable water / everything except sewage

I fear the grey tank you are referring to is the sewage tank for the head (toilet). That aint grew water........

now more confused here, previous owner put t in with valves. on line coming fr. box on floor, i hook garden hose up and water comes out the back are u saying that should not happen

That red hose is home brew rig for flushing the engine / cooling system or running engine while boat is out of the water.. Has nothing to do with the clear box.

Look closely at the plastic box and you can see a Rule Pump (red cover) through the semi clear top. That is the grey water pump.

That dingy convoluted hose is the drain hoses from the sink / shower. Small hose is pressure hose from pump to overboard discharge.
