    Ok awesome after removing the carb again and removing the bowl. I removed the drain screw and found the jet behind the drain plug. Literally didn't have to pull the carb again lol. You live and you learn right? So....yes it's clean now. Still dame symptoms starts for a few seconds and dies

    Just pulled the carb and main jet. As seen in pic. Also removed float and needle valve. All ports are clear and clean and flowing. Just wanted to check that no debris had made it in since last cleaning. Thise are the only 2 things in this bowl

    Yes sir, did the carb myself. Main jet is 100% clean. I set rich lean to 1 1half out and runs for a few seconds and died now instead of running.for a split second.

    HELLO IBOATS! Me again one more time. Checked the secret file and didn't see my topic for this old boat motor. So I had a no spark problem. Posted a thread and someone you wonderful peeps helped me get her firing again. After hell and High water the motor starts for half a Second and dies...

    Update. Found a super corroded wire going to kill switch replaced it.my key works again.lol Now pulled flywheel.of death again. Put wiper to highest point on cam.(also used screwdriver in piston to make sure it was TDC) Set points to .20 replaced fly wheel no joy. Found single makes on flywheel...

    Yes motor is new to me. Got the boat for free. It did not start when i got it.the owner said it's been setting for about 5 years. I expect to have the clean/rebuild carb. Maybe seals and definitely a impeller and could be on the water fingers crossed.

    Correction**** after set to TDC for top cylinder. I set the point then l, turned crank 180° and did same to other point
