Question..... what is the name of this spring. I was taking off my magplate (carefully) and broke it. And now I can't find one. F.y.i. both end have the same curved end

316368 called a SPRING used from 1960 to 1970 on the 40 HP.---And on the 20 / 25 / 35 / 35 HP up to 2005 models.-----.-------Lots of those around.---Dealer might even have it in stock.----Most old time shops would have a few laying around.-----They are proud of that item.----Only on sale at $38 for a new one.-----Likely $5 or less at some old time shops.--E-bay will have lots I think.---Call around.-----Your location ?

The ends are similar but not exactly the same.----The end that is NOT broken goes on the tower shaft.---Open end would face you.-----Not hard to figure out the installation I think.
