    Getting the water out of the block after a sea trial?

    Only thing I'm going to mention is pouring antifreeze into the 4 hoses is a great idea 'as long as the thermostat is STILL open' If it closed during your ride home from cooling down, no antifreeze will make it into your motor. Just a heads up.

    Starter issues

    I agree with Bondo... Check the wiring on the back of the ignition switch. Either the ignition switch is wired incorrectly allowing juice to go to red/yellow wire with key in ON position or the ignition switch is bad internally. In short, you shouldn't have juice going to the red/yellow wire...

    *****When in need of help always post Year Make Model of your motor Without knowing Yr/Make/Model and without viewing the actual wiring diagram for your motor and boat those choke wires are not something I can inform you about.... but to my knowledge there's (in many cases) only one wire...

    Just picked up an 1986 - 21 to 22 foot Starcraft Spot center console with a 94 Yamaha 130 V4 2 stroke. Previous owner just installed a new fuel tank and floor. Transom looks super. According to previous owner this boat spent most of it's life in a warehouse. He claims theree is less then 100 hrs...

    Hydrolocked in the parkinglot

    When you remove the thermostat housing look down inside for holes like pin size holes or larger. Sometimes the intake manifold rots out just below the thermostat. Just some helpful info.
