    Moving 3rd toon back

I'd be concerned that moving the center log back would change the stresses on the toon and could be the tipping point for possible failure. What that'd look like is anyone's guess. If the toon supports it, might just want a bigger motor. If not, might be time to upgrade to a different pontoon...

    RWD Tow Vehicle Launch Issues?

Yep. A V6 on a SUV chassis is a capable platform IF you do your research. It's the reason why the Durango in my sig has the factory tow package for the 6200lbs towing. Most people don't which is why I think there's some sticklers who are still in the..... full sized pickup + v8 + 4x4 camp...

    RWD Tow Vehicle Launch Issues?

I think that some of it is just sheer stupidity on the driver's part. Other could be related to the "Tim the Toolman Taylor" mentality of bigger is better. Other is that driver education here doesn't involve towing trailers. My drivers training back in the early 90's said the following when I...

    Medically dependent on electricity?

Grandmother was on oxygen at night. No power, no oxygen. She was on record with the local fire department and electric company so that if something happened, she was first on the list for emergency services. I also have several aquariums that need power to run their filters & heaters. I'm...

    2022 NFL - Week 4

Soo....Tua gets concussed, but not really - at least according to the Dolphins & Tua - during the Bills game, returns to that game, then plays this one and gets his bell wrung soundly again - this time requiring hospitalization. And somehow he managed to start? This has coverup written all over it.

    PSA on Winterization Antifreeze

The marina that winterizes mine, which happens to be an authorized Merc and Volvo dealer/repair center, leaves the system empty. We freeze, hard sometimes, in NY. Take it for what its worth.

    Sourcing interior parts

Might try a custom plastics shop....a good one that can mold parts like that.

    RWD Tow Vehicle Launch Issues?

Only time my parents ever got stuck was one particular year retrieving the MFG while we were on vacation at Baptiste Lake, Bancroft ON. The launch at the campsite was sand and led directly into the lake. While retrieving the boat, our 1981 Chevy Malibu wagon, mid-sized v6, had the rear tires...

    Bayliner engine cover, help!!

Given the age of the boat, your best bet is going to be your local upholstery shop. **This assumes that your boat is the one in the bottom photo and requires the padded top to the existing cover.

    Bad Gas tank design

https://www.verandamarine.com/faq/#toggle-id-5 3 year for her/his model year. I think the comment was that eventually the gasket would wear out, after the warranty expired, and then the owner would be on the hook for the repairs. At least, if I'm reading all that right...which apparently is...

    Boat accident at dusk

I'd contact an attorney to see what other options you may have outside of insurance. Might be nothing, might be substantial. Don't know till you sit down and ask. I'd steer clear of contacting the owner of the other boat.

1977?? Bumblebee boat seems like a lot of water pours out of it

Is this a bass boat with livewell? If so, did you happen to use the livewell? Might require some inspection under the hatches to determine if that's the case and that the hoses are still intact/connected.

    RWD Tow Vehicle Launch Issues?

Foot on the brake, other foot on the gas, and don't try to be your favorite Nascar driver pulling out of the pits. Use some common sense and you should be fine. Only place I would be concerned would be an overly slippery ramp (you're inspecting it before you launch right?) OR a sand ramp where...

    Bad Gas tank design

Touted as a luxury toon.... https://www.verandamarine.com/contact-us/ I'd start there. It's a new boat, has a warranty, use it. Be persistent, polite, yet firm.

    Upgrading, or downgrading?

No just at the tire kicking stage right now. Admiral asked what it would take to get a bit bigger boat as our previous Four Winns was 8'6" wide and the Chap is narrower. I mentioned I looked at comparable boats (feature wise) and it's currently at 70k to go up in size. I was then asked why I was...

    Structural integrity and boating safety.

In this day and age I would respectfully just let it be as you have no idea how the person is going to react. And truthfully you have no idea if its going to fail that day or a week/month/year down the road. I'd make sure my boat was ready for a water rescue if needed.

    Upgrading, or downgrading?

Dealers have to have stock to do that. Most around my neck of the woods don't. It's order for next year or you're SOL. I think the last boat show that was local to me was pre-covid. I really like the Hurricane deck boats - that's probably my next purchase if it isn't...oh I can't believe I'm...

    1993 Wellcraft Eclipse196S Rebuild

I'd build a couple a-frames, roll the boat under it, decap, roll the boat to where ever you're working on it. A-frames keep the cap up high away from potential damage. When work is complete, roll back under and lower. **This provided you have a spot to do this outside the house.

    Upgrading, or downgrading?

What's the weight on that Regal? Cause mine dry is 2600 and I have the 180HP MPI 4.3L merc. I'm just under 50mph trimmed right. It's nothing to sneeze at and moves quite well - not a dog and corners like its on rails with the 4 blade merc prop I run. That being said, a 19' boat over an 18' boat...
