    I found a bunch of Industry Data . . .

The trend toward pontoons, center consoles and wake boats was the nail in the coffin to I/Os. The I/O was bowrider family friendly which is becoming an obsolete boat style. Factor in many kids don't want to go anymore. It's boring, would rather sit at home on social media. I've experienced...

    What about powder coating?

    Floor Storage Support Flange

Thanks Mike. Pics of your work look awesome. A few questions if you don't mind. 1) "Urethane single stage" is what I tell them I need? 2) When you say "spray sealer" do you mean a primer? 3) Should this hold up over time given the traffic.

    Floor Storage Support Flange

I want to "paint" or otherwise restore the support flange for my floor storage. Obviously a high traffic area and sometimes a cooler may get drug across it. I assume a rattle can ain't gonna cut it. Appears to be aluminum. What would you guys do?

    Quicksilver Extreme Grease

I have an older tube and the grease is a very dark green color. Recently bought another and now the grease is light brown/beige. Just wondering if the new one is ok. Has another one else seen this?

    Boat covers like Seal Skin

I'm in KY so not exactly snow country but for around 3 years I used a seal skin cover over top of my sunbrella snap on covers with support poles in place. We did get one big for KY snow during that time, probably 6-7 inches The covers held up well before I could get to it to and push the snow...

Stingray sitting correctly on bunker trailer?

The bunk supports appear to be welded. I suppose you could abandon them and add ones that are adjustable.

Stingray sitting correctly on bunker trailer?

The left one appears to be sitting on a running strake.

Hope you get back in time to enjoy a few runs. I was out yesterday, Conley to Otter Creek, best time of the year!

Alpha 1 Gen 2 shift question

To close the loop on this, as it turns out I had 3 things occurring at once. 1). The spin on fuel filter was barely hanging on. Tightening it solved the stalling at idle problem (yes embarrassing). This I miss diagnosed as a shift adjustment/interrupt switch problem. 2). While trying to...

Alpha One Gen 2 Speedometer Connector

More trouble than it's worth. Cut the hose up high where it's out of the way during drive pulls and discard the rest. Use gps for speed on your phone. Much more accurate.

    Propeller advice

My 5.0 MPI alpha drive (1.62 ratio) is turning the prop I mentioned in post #2 at 4920 rpm. My top range is 5000 rpm so that's dialed in pretty well.

    Propeller advice

By "same properties" you mean the Amazon prop is a 14.5 x 19? Recommend a Turning Point 14.25 x 21 3 blade aluminum. They have a more modern twist on an aluminum vs some builders. Comes with a bit more rake and cup. I'm running one right now, love it.

    portable fuel tank quick disconnect

I'm 1.5 hours from the boat and it's 24 years old. So when I'm on the lake I check my bilge fairly often. With the selfie stick on board I could investigate a leak immediately instead of having to wait till the next outing. Just a precaution. Doesn't take up much room.

    portable fuel tank quick disconnect

I keep a selfie stick on the boat just in case.
