I have run my 5/16" line from separator to my 9.9hp Honda and my 3/8" line to my Merc 125HP from separator. Both with primer bulbs. Do the primer bulbs have backflow preventors built in?

I probably have the answer but will ask. I have a merc 125hp and Honda 9.9 kicker coming off one fuel tank with one line into a fuel/water separator and one line out to a primer bulb then tee'd to a 5/16 line to the kicker and 3/8 line to the 115 HP. My kicker stalled a couple times last time...

I don't think it overheated only that the alarm went off. Non stop alarm. Shut off motor for a bit end of alarm til it runs some more. So the plug in the engine is for the alarm? In the video below the guy takes it out without explaining what its purpose is. Plus no wires to it, how does it...
