I don't believe car applications got knock sensors. But yes, that is TBV.
In base timing, you get some advance but no idle compensation and a few other things. If it's set correctly, your timing mark won't even hit with a standard light without it disconnected at idle. With throttle you still...
Dad never used bellows adhesive on his personal boats with no ill effects. He always used it on customers boats for the sake of law suits... I've never owned a gen II or bravo but on my alpha I've done it both ways... I also only use the exhaust tube. No reason to **** around with bellows there...
My captain worked the 90s pinelands fire in NJ and the one a couple years back. In all his years he said he's never seen a fire move that fast, day or night. I can only imagine the ones up there.
Costco is more $ and less convenient for me. And their prorated warranty (changed in the last couple years in the US but is still the old policy in Canada if memory serves) is the worst offering now.
The current best value is walmart with the 3 or 4 year warranty vs the 3 year prorated offered...

Made the mistake of using stainless on an exhaust flange once. Never again.
I've seen some pretty trick coated hardware in the wild over the years... but typically they're more expensive than what they'd be bolted to.
When I went out last week a guy pissed me kff. Got the boat tied on the bulk head (off the ramp incase someone came in hot and needed to get out ASAP, which has happened) got the truck pulled around, the strap out on the winch and then backed in after leaving the staging area. Hopped on the boat...
Made my marina hands a tray of 7 layer cookies as a thank you at the start of every season. They took care of business and appreciated that. May also be because my other buddy buys them the devils lettuce and they need a snack afterwards.
I've had this happen before with this particular flo-torq hub... Reading around merc makes a second hub kit with a rear bushing recommended for higher pitch/rake props to prevent exactly this. Mind you it didn't do this the last outing and the only way the shaft could've bent was sitting in my...
I actually had to adjust the rear drums (yes some still have that even in 2026) on my girls corolla a few months ago. Found the spoon in the drawer of dads tool box lol.
